Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our growing team in Fredericksburg, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory therapy and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Perform respiratory therapy procedures such as oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, and aerosol therapy
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and record patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functioning
• Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures
• Stay current on industry developments and best practices in respiratory therapy

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a valid state license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy
• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
