Registered Safety Officer

Main Purpose of role:

This post is responsible to create, maintain and enforce the safety plan to make a safe environment for all company staff working under health and safe places.  It is also responsible to organize training for safety and environmental protection to suit the highest standard of customer’s and company’s requirement.   It shall supervise all staffs in the office or on site to work safely and prevent any risk of accident.

Responsibilities :

• To follow Government contract requirement, to execute and complete Government contract
• To monitor daily Environmental Health and Safety for workplaces including the premises, workshops and construction sites
• Ensuring compliance with the statutory, contractual and company Environmental Health and Safety requirements
• To conduct risk assessments and regular  Environmental Health and Safety inspections
• To implement the company’s policy and execute  Environmental Health and Safety management system
• To conduct detail incident / accident investigation and propose remedial action;
• Provide internal training to employees and subcontractors
• Organize Environmental Health and Safety campaign and promotion activities
• Assist in ad-hoc Environmental Health and Safety tasks/projects as require

Requirements :

• A Registered Safety Officer in the Labour Department
• Minimum 1 year of post-registration in E&M engineering industry
• (Fresh registered Safety Officer will be also considered)
• Work independently
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge on ISO 45001 is an advantage
