Responsibilities

• Operate medical imaging equipment to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, vascular, and echocardiography (must) scans.
• Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort while maintaining strict aseptic techniques
• Accurately capture and analyze ultrasound images, ensuring clarity and diagnostic quality for physician review
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Ensure proper operation and calibration of ultrasound equipment, including Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for image storage and retrieval
• Adhere to safety protocols, including infection control practices and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures

Skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles relevant to ultrasound imaging
• Proven experience with various ultrasound modalities such as abdominal, vascular, and echocardiography imaging techniques
• Ability to operate advanced medical imaging equipment with precision and confidence
• Familiarity with vascular ultrasound imaging diagnostics and vascular technology tools
• Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
• Proficiency in using Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and other EMR/EHR platforms for image management and documentation

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
