Duties

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures with precision and care
• Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostics to aid in accurate diagnosis
• Collect and process samples efficiently, ensuring proper handling and documentation
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
• Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery during surgical procedures with vigilance
• Maintain detailed medical records, updating patient files accurately and promptly
• Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and preventive health measures

Skills

• Proven laboratory experience with proficiency in running diagnostic tests and analyzing results
• Strong understanding of veterinary medical terminology, procedures, and protocols
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate clients and collaborate with team members
