Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures with precision and care
• Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures to aid in accurate diagnosis
• Prepare animals for procedures by administering medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
• Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgical procedures to ensure patient safety
• Maintain accurate medical records, update patient files, and document treatment plans thoroughly
• Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and preventive health strategies
• Support laboratory activities by collecting samples and conducting tests to facilitate swift diagnosis

Requirements

• Valid license as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
• Proven laboratory experience with familiarity in performing diagnostic tests efficiently and accurately
• Strong understanding of veterinary medical practices, animal anatomy, and pharmacology
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, multi tasking, and compassion for animals
• Willingness to continuously learn new techniques and stay current with veterinary advancements

Pay: $25.00-$31.00 per hour
