Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Lock One Animal Hospital in St. Catharines is a progressive independently-owned small animal clinic in the Niagara region. Our team of highly driven and enthusiastic veterinary professionals is excited to welcome a positive and energetic full-time RVT to join our all-star team!

As a clinic, our focus is on the quality of care for our patients and the quality of life for our team. For our patients that means:

• Individualized medicine

• A focus on animal welfare, no matter the financial restrictions

• Low stress/fear free handling (no fighting fractious cats)

• Treating pets with the dignity and kindness we would use with our own pets

For our team that means:

• Above average compensation ($26+/hr. commensurate with experience)

• Generous CE ($750/year) and encouragement of your vet med interests

• Comprehensive health/dental benefits & pet discounts

• Paid professional licensing and membership dues

• Regular staff meetings, rounds and team events so we are all on the same page

• We are open 8am - 6pm, no weekends, no on-call or overnight!

All applicants must have RVT certification, and have completed an accredited AHT diploma. A sense of humour is also strictly required (only slightly less important than RVT status).

Experience is preferred, however highly motivated new grads are encouraged to apply.

If interested, please submit your cover letter and resume to owner/RVT ad writer Dr. Geoff Culf either on Indeed or at [email protected].
