Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT)

Key Responsibilities

• Anesthesia & Surgery: Induce, monitor, and recover patients during surgical procedures; prep surgical suites and sterilize equipment.
• Patient Nursing: Provide compassionate nursing care, place IV catheters, administer prescribed medications, and manage wound care.
• Diagnostics: Collect biological samples, perform in-house laboratory testing, and capture digital X-rays/ultrasounds.
• Client Communication: Educate pet owners on post-operative care, preventive health, and treatment plans.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Veterinary Technology program.
• Active registration as an RVT in British Columbia.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and multi-tasking skills.
• Passion for high-standard patient care and welfare.
