Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Registration Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient registration processes, ensuring accurate medical records, and providing exceptional customer service.

Duties

• Greet patients and assist with the registration process, ensuring all necessary information is collected accurately.
• Verify patient insurance information and eligibility, facilitating smooth billing processes.
• Maintain and update medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize software for data entry and management of patient information
• Schedule appointments for patients while coordinating with medical staff to optimize clinic operations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Organize and scan records.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a medical office as a Registration Specialist required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
