Regulatory Affairs Program Coordinator (RN)

Role: Supports regulatory compliance activities, including mock surveys, process tracers, and documentation audits. Collaborates with leadership, physicians, and staff to identify risks, develop corrective actions, and ensure adherence to accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of CMS, The Joint Commission, and other regulatory requirements.
• Develops and delivers education on healthcare licensure, accreditation, and compliance trends.
• Assists with workflow development, policy review, mock surveys, and continuing education.
• Conducts tracers and audits, providing clinical expertise to improve processes and compliance.
• Supports survey preparation, on-site activities, and post-survey follow-up.
• Partner with operational leaders to track corrective actions and mitigate risks.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associates or Bachelors in Nursing preferred.
• RN license required; compact or single-state license acceptable.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care (5 years preferred).
• Certifications required upon hire; CPHQ preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data management.
