Regulatory Compliance Associate

Axia-Search is working with a Financial Services compliance consultancy in Limassol. Looking for candidates with strong regulatory compliance, candidates can have a legal background within Financial Services within drafting and supporting licensing applications within CIF's/CASP's.

Salary: €30,000 - €45,000 gross per year + benefits.

Hybrid working is available

Office based in Limassol

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring CIF and CASP, compliance with all applicable regulations and legislations through continuous monitoring.
• Drafting Annual Regulatory Compliance reports, manuals, and other policies to ensure Compliance with the applicable legislation and providing guidance on their implementation.
• Leading the licensing procedure of a new application of CIF and CASP.
• Drafting, reviewing, and observing the reporting deadlines of CIF and CASP.
• Lead and coordinate the licensing procedures of new and existing clients across multiple jurisdictions, including CySEC, FSCA, DFSA, FSRA, FSA Seychelles, FSC Mauritius etc
• Leading Internal Audit engagements, performing on-site inspections to CIF and CASP, and providing recommendations for identified weaknesses and deficiencies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in a Regulatory Compliance or Legal Advisory related function.
• Bachelors degree within Law or a related field.
• (Desirable) Good knowledge of the MiFID II and Investment Firms Law, Investment Firms regulation (IFR).
• Previous experience working within a CIF/CASP or working with clients in this space.
