Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Regulatory Operations Manager to support regulatory reporting, compliance operations and process improvement across multiple jurisdictions. The role will work closely with Legal, Finance, Risk and IT teams to ensure timely and accurate regulatory submissions, strong documentation and audit readiness, while improving the efficiency, accuracy and scalability of regulatory reporting processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret regulatory requirements across relevant countries and jurisdictions.
• Prepare and coordinate accurate and timely regulatory filings, including financial statements, transaction reports and capital adequacy reports.
• Maintain complete documentation, supporting evidence and audit trails for regulatory reviews, examinations and audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve regulatory reporting workflows, with a focus on scalability, efficiency and accuracy.
• Support the implementation and effective use of tools for data extraction, validation and analysis.
• Identify process gaps and support the development and implementation of corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Risk and IT teams to align regulatory processes, data requirements and reporting obligations.
• Provide practical guidance to internal stakeholders on regulatory obligations and reporting standards.
• Support cross-functional initiatives to strengthen regulatory compliance and readiness.
• Assist in identifying compliance risks and gaps relating to the safeguarding of customer funds.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of risk-mitigation measures and controls.
• ⁠Participate in internal and external audits and help maintain ongoing audit readiness and transparency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in regulatory reporting, compliance or risk management within banking, financial services, payments or fintech.
• Strong experience in regulatory reporting, compliance processes and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements and reporting standards across financial services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and engage external stakeholders.
• Hands-on, outcome-driven approach with the ability to manage complex regulatory requirements and competing priorities.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with multi-jurisdictional compliance and safeguarding frameworks will be a strong advantage.
