What they need

Join our Regulatory Reporting team within Middle Office Services, where you will help clients meet their trade and derivatives reporting obligations through accurate, timely, and well-controlled reporting.

As a Regulatory Reporting Senior Associate in our Regulatory Reporting team, you will help ensure regulatory reporting data is accurate, complete, and delivered to required standards. You will support delegated reporting services and data feeds to trade repositories, work closely with clients and internal partners, and help identify and implement process, control, and technology improvements. The regulations in your scope include trade and derivative exposure reporting requirements such as EMIR, FinfraG, ASIC, MiFIR, and SFTR. You will collaborate with clients, trade repositories, internal data providers, technology teams, and product partners to resolve exceptions and strengthen reporting processes. This role offers the opportunity to work on regulatory change, data quality and lineage, and service improvements in a fast-paced environment with daily deadlines. You will be part of a team that values collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Job responsibilities

  • Implement robust process and quality controls to support accurate regulatory reporting
  • Investigate and resolve reporting exceptions by coordinating with clients, trade repositories, counterparties, and internal data providers
  • Escalate issues efficiently and drive them to resolution within daily deadlines
  • Partner with technology and product teams to review system design and recommend reporting enhancements
  • Test reporting outputs to identify potential errors and data issues
  • Conduct post release checks to ensure implementation effectiveness
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and metrics to monitor reporting quality, timeliness, and exception trends
  • Present clear reporting statistics and commentary to clients and senior stakeholders
  • Support onboarding and change delivery for new clients and new regulations (requirements, testing, data migration, implementation support)
  • Support internal and external audit engagements
  • Strengthen data ownership and lineage processes to improve data provenance and reporting data quality standards

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Strong understanding of trade and derivatives regulatory reporting (e.g., EMIR, FinfraG, ASIC, MiFIR, SFTR)
  • Strong ability to interpret regulatory text and translate into actionable business requirements
  • Understanding of the derivatives trade lifecycle across products such as over-the-counter derivatives, exchange-traded derivatives, foreign exchange forwards, and repurchase agreements
  • Ability to investigate, resolve, and escalate reporting exceptions across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the initiative to improve processes and controls
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and locations, including with clients and technology partners
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision while contributing strongly as part of a team
  • Ability to deliver in a high-volume environment with fixed daily deadlines
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain performance metrics and issues to stakeholders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience supporting delegated reporting services or operational reporting controls in an operations or middle office environment
  • Experience building operational dashboards and defining performance metrics for data quality and exception management
  • Experience partnering with technology teams on reporting or data-quality enhancements (requirements, testing, implementation support)
  • Experience using and managing vendors and services in the transactional regulatory reporting space (e.g., UnaVista or DTCC)
  • Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes
