Coopman Search are partnering with a leading hedge fund, who are seeking a number of regulatory reporting/transaction reporting specialists to join their London office.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the continued build-out of the firm's global regulatory reporting function, supporting both BAU reporting and strategic regulatory change initiatives across the UK, EMEA, APAC and the US.
Working closely with Operations, Compliance, Technology and Front Office teams, you will oversee global reporting obligations, drive process improvements and support the implementation of new regulatory requirements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the firm's global regulatory reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Manage BAU reporting, reconciliations, exception management and reporting controls.
- Partner with Compliance and Technology to deliver regulatory change and reporting enhancements.
- Interpret new regulatory requirements and assess their operational impact.
- Support onboarding of new products, markets and reporting regimes.
- Produce business requirements, process documentation and UAT for reporting initiatives.
- Drive automation, process improvements and data quality across the reporting framework.
- Act as a key stakeholder for regulatory reporting across Operations, Compliance and the Front Office.
Experience Required:
- Proven regulatory reporting experience within a hedge fund, investment bank or asset manager.
- Strong knowledge of one or more reporting regimes, including EMIR, MiFIR Transaction Reporting, SFTR, MAS, CFTC, SEC, CAT or Form PF.
- Good understanding of the trade lifecycle across multiple asset classes.
- Experience balancing BAU reporting responsibilities with regulatory projects and change initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills.
- Experience with regulatory reporting vendors and SQL, Python or Power BI would be advantageous.
