Job Summary The Rehabilitation Associate supports the physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and cardiac rehab staff. The Associate performs tasks to support patient care under the immediate and direct supervision of the clinical staff. These tasks include patient support, upkeep and maintenance of the department, clerical duties and patient transport/positioning. These responsibilities extend to both the inpatient and outpatient populations.

Job Qualifications

• Strong interest in providing therapy to patients
• A minimum of one (1) year rehabilitation aide experience preferred
• Ability to use proper body mechanics
• BLS from agency following AHA standards
• Knowledge of patient scheduling and medical insurance authorizations preferred
• Use of Epic or other electronic medical records system a plus

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
