Reinstatement Supervisor

Leegal Contracts is looking for an experienced Reinstatement Supervisor with a strong background in utilities, civil engineering and reinstatement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising backfill and reinstatement teams, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate reinstatement across utility and civils works.
• Plan daily workloads and coordinate labour, plant and materials.
• Oversee temporary and permanent reinstatement of carriageways, footways and other surfaces.
• Carry out site inspections and monitor workmanship, productivity and quality.
• Ensure correct materials, layer depths, compaction and finishing standards are achieved.
• Identify defects and arrange corrective works where required.
• Liaise with project managers, site teams and clients.
• Ensure relevant permits, traffic management and site documentation are in place.
• Maintain accurate daily records, photographs and site reports.
• Ensure compliance with company health, safety, environmental and quality procedures.
• Ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Role Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience within utilities, civils or reinstatement.
• Strong practical knowledge of utility excavation and reinstatement.
• Good working knowledge of street works requirements.
• Experience managing reinstatement teams
• Knowledge of asphalt, concrete, paving, kerbing, footway and carriageway reinstatement.
• Strong understanding of health and safety within utilities and street works.
• Good organisational, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage teams and work locations.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Qualifications

• NRSWA Supervisor
• SSSTS or SMSTS.
• CSCS or equivalent.
• Relevant utility-sector qualifications.
