Reinsurance Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and processing reinsurance contracts.
• Update our internal systems with business data.
• Liaise with Cedents & Reinsurers to resolve inquiries and to facilitate smooth and accurate update of transactions.
• Monitor reinsurance recoveries of premiums and claims and ensure timely follow-up.
• Prepare technical statements of accounts.
• Reconcile transactions with statements from Cedents & Reinsurers
• When required; to compile statistical data for Management.
• Handle other duties/ad-hoc jobs as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics or Mathematics. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, pivot table etc)
  • Basic understanding of insurance and reinsurance principles will be an advantage.

• Soft Skills: must possess a high degree of “attention to detail” and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
