Are you a reinsurance broker or underwriter with your own relationships and track record, ready to run a business rather than sit in someone else’s?

Our client is a DFSA-regulated reinsurance and MGA business, part of a well-established Dubai broking group with deep reinsurance expertise at its leadership level. The entity holds its own property binder for industrial, warehouse and manufacturing risks, a class many local insurers avoid, and already receives a steady flow of enquiries. With strong insurer and broker relationships across the group, it is now looking for a senior leader to drive the business's next phase of growth.

What will you be doing?

• Meeting brokers and insurers, winning slips and working them through to placement
• Working both sides of the market, with cedants and with reinsurers and capacity providers
• Leading distribution of the property binder and lifting conversion on incoming enquiries
• Growing reinsurance business for external brokers and insurers
• Bringing your own relationships and business to the platform
• Building the DIFC operation and shaping how it runs

What do you need?

• Reinsurance broking or underwriting experience in the UAE or wider region
• Established relationships with UAE and regional insurers, and with reinsurers or capacity providers
• A personal track record of business you have placed or written
• Strength in property and non-medical lines, ideally industrial risks
• Binder, MGA or delegated authority experience is a strong advantage
• DIFC or DFSA experience is a plus
• Ownership mindset and comfort working without big-firm structure
• Fluent English, based in Dubai
