Reinsurance Manager

• Lead the renewal, negotiation, and placement of all Treaty and Facultative Reinsurance contracts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international reinsurers, brokers, and capacity providers.
• Analyze underwriting portfolios, exposure accumulations, and loss ratios to determine reinsurance requirements.
• Prepare and review reinsurance slips, wordings, cover notes, and endorsements.
• Manage reinsurance recoveries, claims notifications, and timely follow‑ups with reinsurers and brokers.
• Monitor global reinsurance market trends and advise management on capacity changes and pricing impacts.
• Coordinate with underwriting, claims, finance, and risk teams for all reinsurance‑related matters.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reinsurance reports, bordereaux, and renewal presentations for management and reinsurers.
• Support the company’s strategic planning by providing insights on risk retention and reinsurance strategy.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree along with CII / FIII or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in negotiations with regional and international reinsurers.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, including exposure and portfolio analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with insurance systems and reinsurance reporting tools is an advantage.
