What they need

Relationship Development Manager

We're seeking a dynamic Relationship Development Manager in South Australia while also playing a key primary role in interstate expansion.

ABOUT US:

At Alffie, we empower minds and changes lives.

For more than a decade, we've partnered with Australia's Employment Services sector to help hundreds of thousands of participants develop the skills, confidence and qualifications needed to secure sustainable employment.

As part of The Ripple Group, Australia's largest privately owned online education provider, we deliver flexible, engaging learning experiences across accredited qualifications, skill sets and employability training. Together, our group has empowered more than 850,000 Australians through education.

Today, Alffie proudly partners with Employment Service Providers nationally across:

  • Workforce Australia
  • Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA)
  • Transition to Work (TTW)
  • Parent Pathways

Our reputation has been built on innovation, exceptional provider support, and delivering genuine outcomes for both participants and providers.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is far more than a traditional Relationship Development Manager position.

Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, and working alongside a team, you'll become the trusted partner to some of Australia's leading Employment Service Providers, working closely with Regional Managers, Business Managers, Site Managers and Employment Consultants to improve participant outcomes while supporting provider performance across employment services programs.

You'll manage an established portfolio while identifying opportunities to grow existing partnerships and develop new business throughout SA alongside a dedicated interstate patch.

Success in this role comes from building genuine relationships, understanding provider challenges, and delivering practical education solutions that create measurable value.

If you enjoy being on the road, bi-monthly interstate travel, working autonomously, solving problems and making a genuine impact, you'll love this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Relationship Development Manager:

  • Manage and grow an established portfolio of Employment Service Providers across SA alongside a dedicated interstate patch.
  • Develop trusted relationships with Regional Managers, Business Managers, Site Managers and Employment Consultants.
  • Conduct regular provider site visits, presentations and training sessions.
  • Working within, and alongside a dedicated Growth Team across Australia.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing provider networks.
  • Generate new business opportunities across Workforce Australia, Inclusive Employment Australia, Transition to Work and Parent Pathways providers.
  • Deliver solution-focused conversations aligned to provider performance measures, participant engagement and sustainable employment outcomes.
  • Identify underperforming sites and implement engagement strategies to improve utilisation and outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with our Provider Support, Student Support, Assessment and Work Placement teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and activity reporting.
  • Represent Alffie at provider meetings, networking events, conferences and industry forums.

ABOUT YOU:

You'll be someone who genuinely enjoys building long-term relationships and helping customers succeed.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, have the flexibility for bi-monthly interstate travel requirements, enjoy autonomy, and are motivated by achieving results while making a genuine difference in people's lives.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Proven experience in B2B Account Management, Relationship Management or Business Development.
  • Outstanding relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • A consultative, solution-focused approach to customer engagement.
  • Strong presentation, communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience managing multiple customer accounts or territories.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Experience in working within a Team to achieve National objectives.
  • Confidence working autonomously while contributing to a collaborative national team.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline and customer activity.

Experience within the Employment Services sector (Workforce Australia, Inclusive Employment Australia, Transition to Work or Parent Pathways) will be highly regarded but is not essential. Candidates with strong B2B relationship management experience from related industries are encouraged to apply.
