What they need
Relationship Manager
Location: Anchorage, AK
Compensation: $48–$52k DOE
Our client is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Relationship Manager to serve as our Director of First Impressions. This is a great entry point into the financial planning industry — little prior experience is required, though any experience is a plus.
About the Role As our Relationship Manager, you'll greet clients, help them feel welcome, and support our advisors in delivering excellent client service. You'll manage correspondence, schedule appointments, answer and direct phone calls, and keep our office running smoothly — all while learning the ins and outs of the financial services industry.
What You'll Do
Deliver personalized client service and help our advisors maintain strong client relationships. Open new accounts, complete forms, process transactions, and maintain accurate records. Manage emails and correspondence, schedule appointments, and prepare materials for client meetings. Learn and become proficient with our firm's software and Microsoft 365.
What We're Looking For
A friendly, professional demeanor and a strong team-player mindset. Someone teachable who can learn and adapt quickly, take ownership of tasks, and is trustworthy and dependable. Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal. Initiative, critical thinking, and adaptability to changing client and office needs. Comfort with computers and a willingness to learn new technology.
This is a great entry point into the financial planning industry, with genuine room for growth — most current employees have worked their way up within the company, and the firm actively encourages and supports continuing education.
