Role Description The Relationship Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers in line with the bank’s financial inclusion and service-focused mission. The role involves engaging with new and existing customers, understanding their financial needs, and recommending appropriate savings, deposit, and credit products. The Relationship Officer will manage customer queries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive, professional service experience at all times. Daily tasks include achieving sales and portfolio quality targets, conducting outreach and follow-ups, supporting branch operations, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to improve customer experience and contribute to the growth of the branch.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Business Relationship Management and Customer Service skills to build trust, handle queries, and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Finance and Banking products to understand customer needs and provide suitable solutions.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to explain financial products simply.
• Candidates should possess Sales skills, including lead generation, upselling and cross-selling, and achieving assigned business targets ethically.
• Candidates should ideally have prior experience in retail banking, microfinance, or financial services, especially in customer-facing roles.
• Candidates should have strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and familiarity with basic computer and digital banking applications.
• Candidates should preferably hold a graduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; local language proficiency will be an added advantage.
