RELEASE MANAGER

About the role

The Release Manager facilitates the timely and quality software releases, updates and bug fixes through successful planning, coordination, and execution of the releases. Clears and escalates impediments or blockers on-time when necessary. Reporting to the CRM Delivery – Platform Engineering Team Head and ensures that the technical implementation of the project is meeting the business requirements and in compliance to BDO's software development life cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop technical solution designs and implementation plans and take full ownership of the Dynamics 365 solution
• Work with technology and business groups to define project specifications
• Facilitate discussions with the Business and Technical Stakeholders to translate the critical business requirements and present a technical vision and solutions in the form of software product, customizations and integrations
• Act as the Technical Design Authority on the project alongside the other technical resources
• Detect and classify technical risks and issues and actively work to mitigate and resolve risks and technical debt
• Work with technical teams to help determine timelines, project tasks, and requirements gathering process
• Participate in the full development life-cycle process
• Engage with client stakeholders and ensure our solutions are understood throughout
• Clearly define the solution design to the development team and provide technical guidance during the development of the solution
• Ensure to follow the architectural trends and advancements, especially in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure

About you

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related/relevant fields
• 8 or more years of experience
• Expert and has in-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure Services
• Experience in Azure Services such as Logic Apps, Function Apps, App Registration, etc.
• Project experience for medium/large customers and CRM transformation projects
• Advanced knowledge of development work using JavaScript, .NET, and C#, React.js, SSRS, SSIS
• Deep understanding of API, from implementation to the management side of the API's for Integration
• Knowledgeable in terms of implementing web frameworks specifically for Web Extending, Integration, and Development
• Experience in Integration Patterns, Object Oriented Design, Test Driven Development and DevOps
• Experience in designing and governing complex enterprise architectures, that may include IoT, Asset Management, Big Data, CRM, Identity management, billing, and API
