Vehicle Triage Support

Able to drive all types of vehicles (No CDL)

• Fundamental understanding of After-treatment systems and emission testing
• Working knowledge of vehicle systems and engine calibration
• Support RGE Emission Testing on site at Chelsea Proving Grounds, CTC labs, and local suppliers if needed
• Prepare vehicles to be ready for testing
• (Creating the work orders
• Vehicle Triage Support
• Interfacing with the garage staff
• Updating s/w/calibrations
• Driving to set adaptations
• Prepare vehicle to return to test)
• Submit emissions test requests in ETS system
• Evaluate emission test results
• Perform data triage to identify valid and invalid tests
• Update results in Database
• Communicate results for OK or NOK to release from lab and return to test
• Create Issue Tracker (GIMs)
• Support Team Planning meetings
• Support Ongoing Issue Resolution Meetings
• Review emissions data with D&E Teams
• Update results in Emission Reliability Plot
• Review Reliability with D&E
• Create tools to aid workflow and test result analysis
• Identify efficiency improvements for the emission test process in the lab and techniques to improve throughput
• Present results/status updates to management and the emissions engineering development team
• Support emissions testing with outside testing facility vendors
• Interface regularly with the Quality team, Emission Engineering Development Team, Statisticians, Powertrain Applications leadership and assist Management with high profile decision making
• Develop future program test plans
