Reliability Manager

Role Description The Reliability Manager role at Service public de l'emploi / ORP - Amt für den Arbeitsmarkt / RAV is a part-time remote position focused on ensuring the reliability, continuity, and quality of key operational processes and systems. The Reliability Manager monitors performance indicators, analyzes incident and downtime data, and identifies patterns that may impact service availability. This role collaborates with internal teams and external partners to define preventive measures, implement corrective actions, and document best practices. Daily activities include preparing reliability reports, supporting risk assessments, updating procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The Reliability Manager also participates in planning and testing resilience measures to support the organization’s mission of delivering consistent public employment services.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in reliability, quality assurance, or operations management, including monitoring performance and incident data.
• Ability to analyze complex information, identify trends and risks, and propose clear, practical solutions.
• Strong skills in documenting processes, preparing reports, and maintaining structured records of reliability measures and outcomes.
• Effective collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort with remote work, including proficiency with digital collaboration tools and independent time management in a part-time setting.
• Knowledge of risk management, business continuity, or service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL or similar) is an asset.
• Relevant education in engineering, information systems, business administration, or a comparable field, or equivalent practical experience.
