What they need
About the role
This role focuses on executing and optimizing preventive maintenance (PM) operations to maximize asset reliability and minimize equipment degradation. You will collaborate with engineering teams to enhance PM checklists, support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives, and provide rapid-response technical support during equipment breakdowns. The position involves performing condition monitoring inspections using specialized tools, executing precision maintenance tasks, and documenting all activities within the maintenance management system.
Key responsibilities
- Execute and strictly adhere to the scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) calendar to maximize asset reliability and minimize equipment degradation.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize PM checklists, ensuring inspection steps are highly effective, and actively identify opportunities to convert static PM tasks into predictive condition-monitoring routines.
- Support Production operations in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives, specifically coaching operators on Autonomous Maintenance (AM) tasks (Clean-Check-Lubricate).
- Provide rapid-response technical support to the shift maintenance team during critical or complex equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Apply precision troubleshooting methods under pressure to restore equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring the root cause is documented to prevent immediate recurrence.
- Act as a bridge between breakdown events and long-term reliability; analyze the failure mode of the breakdown to update the PM plan or predictive monitoring frequency accordingly.
- Perform routine condition monitoring inspections across critical production lines using specialized tools: Vibration Analysis, Thermal Imaging, and Ultrasound Inspection.
- Execute precision lubrication tasks, including regular oil sampling and analysis setup to track component wear trends.
- Accurately log inspection data into the maintenance system to assist the Reliability Engineer in trend analysis and proactive work order planning.
- Execute high-precision mechanical adjustments, such as laser shaft alignment, belt/chain tensioning, and soft-foot corrections, to extend asset lifecycles.
- Correctly document all maintenance activities, component replacements, and precise root-cause descriptions within the CMMS / SAP PM system.
About you
- High Vocational Certificate or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial plant maintenance.
- Direct experience in beverage, food, or FMCG liquid packaging lines with high-speed bottling technology is highly advantageous.
