Objective:

Contribute to making the Pharmacy profitable, efficient, and effective.

Essential Function:

Operation of the Pharmacy requiring knowledge and certification for distribution of pharmaceuticals. Requires long periods of standing. Patient confidentiality in and out of the store is to be followed at all times. Cashiering. Must be a minimum age of 18 years. Must have a current state pharmacy license. Must be privacy practices certifiable and abide by HIPAA regulations.

Basic Functions:

1. Follow directives of Pharmacy Manager and Store Director.
2. Assume duties of Pharmacy Manager when required.
3. Provide the best product and service possible.
4. Maintain a friendly, professional attitude.
5. Control and purchase inventory.
6. Abide by Company policies and procedures.
7. Follow Company Safety Standards.

Specific Skills:

1. Be current on and enforce all Federal and State laws.
2. Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
3. Must be privacy practices certifiable, and abide by HIPAA regulations.
4. Must have a current state pharmacy license.
5. Increase sales and profits by utilizing profit plan.
6. Set a positive image of customer and pharmacy service in the store and community.
7. Inventory monitoring and reporting.
8. Customer and associate relations.
9. Accuracy in filling prescriptions.
10. Answer customer questions regarding medications and concerns.
11. Phone skills.
12. Computer skills.
13. Service customers in a timely, friendly manner.
14. Must be a minimum age of: 21 years.

Machinery/Equipment:

Safe usage, proper storage, and cleaning of: Computer, Cash Register, Phone, Refrigerator.
