Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Religious Worker to serve as a vital spiritual guide and support figure within our community. This role involves providing spiritual counseling, leading religious services, and fostering a nurturing environment for individuals of all ages. Duties

• Lead religious services, prayer sessions, and community gatherings that inspire and unite participants.
• Offer spiritual counseling and emotional support to individuals facing personal challenges or life transitions.
• Mentor and guide members of the community, including children, youth, and adults, fostering growth and resilience.
• Coordinate outreach programs, including fundraising events, charity drives, and volunteer initiatives to support community needs.
• Provide hospice or end-of-life spiritual care with sensitivity, compassion, and respect for individual wishes.
• Collaborate with other community leaders and organizations to develop programs that promote spiritual well-being.
• Communicate effectively with diverse groups, ensuring inclusivity and understanding in all interactions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in teaching religious principles and leading faith-based activities.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with individuals of varying backgrounds and ages.
• Experience working with children or youth in educational or faith settings.
• Ability to mentor others, offering guidance and support during times of need.
• Knowledge of hospice care principles related to spiritual support for terminally ill individuals.
• Experience in fundraising or organizing charitable events is a plus.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to serve others through spiritual work.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
