Remanufacturing Manager

This isn't a plant-manager-in-a-stable-business job. This person will be leading a certified, operating facility and helping chart a growth agenda that AISIN has publicly committed to:

• Remanufacturing today: FWD, RWD, CVT, hybrid, and heavy-duty automatic transmissions — 60+ models across multiple global OE brands
• Where it's going: hybrid transmission systems, CVT remanufacturing, and new branded reman programs under the AISIN name
• The standards: an IATF 16949-certified, ISO 14001-certified operation with real engineering, quality investigation, and OE technical-support capability
• You get the ownership of a general manager, the platform of a global Tier 1, and the timing of a company in an aggressive growth phase.

What you'll own

• Full P&L and site performance: safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and people
• A cross-functional organization spanning operations, quality, engineering, materials, maintenance, and EHS
• The growth roadmap for our remanufactured product portfolio — new launches, capacity, and capital planning
• A continuous-improvement culture that is genuinely part of who we are (this is a company that lives IATF 16949 and lean discipline, not just audits it)
• Partnerships with commercial, technical, and supply-chain teams across the Americas to turn customer demand into factory throughput
• Your own leadership bench — hiring, developing, and retaining the people who will scale with us

Requirements:

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in automotive manufacturing, remanufacturing, or powertrain operations — transmission experience is a strong plus
• A leader who has run a large site with full ownership of results, not a functional specialist with a big title
• Deep working knowledge of lean manufacturing, problem-solving rigor, and quality systems (IATF 16949 or equivalent)
• Comfort with complex electromechanical products — the more drivetrain/CVT/hybrid exposure, the better
• Financial acumen to defend a budget, justify capital, and drive cost with conviction
• Executive presence to work the plant floor in the morning and a customer or boardroom in the afternoon
• A builder's instinct: integration, transformation, or launch experience is a differentiator
