Remodel Apprentice

We are seeking a qualified Remodel Apprentice with a minimum of 1 year of construction experience and has a desire to develop a career in remodeling. Must have a positive attitude, be teachable, and have a strong work ethic. Must live within 30 minutes of Chandler/Gilbert/Mesa.

Job Summary

We are seeking an ambitious Apprentice Remodeler who is eager to build a career in residential remodeling. This entry-to-mid-level role is ideal for someone who possesses basic trade knowledge, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn under experienced leads. You will work directly alongside our lead remodelers and project managers, gaining hands-on experience across multiple trades.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Remodelers and crew members with daily job site prep, cleanup, tool staging, and demolition.
• Learn and apply hands-on techniques across various trades, including rough/finish carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and basic plumbing/electrical layout.
• Help load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and building materials to and from job sites.
• Work collaboratively with team members and subcontractors to maintain clean, safe, and efficient job sites.
• Follow directions closely, ask questions, and actively take notes to build your skill set.
• Communicate clearly and regularly with the Project Manager and Lead Remodeler regarding progress and daily tasks.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 0–2 years of basic construction, framing, carpentry, or general handyperson experience (formal trade school or vocational training is a plus).
• Location: Must live within 20–30 minutes of Chandler/the East Valley.
• Mindset: Positive attitude, highly teachable, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Tools: Basic hand tools required.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry a minimum of 50 lbs regularly; comfortable working on ladders or in varied residential site conditions.
• Tech & Logistics: Valid Arizona Driver’s License with a clean driving record and reliable personal transportation (truck or van preferred). Smartphone required for project communication.
• Professional Standards: Must follow company dress code, maintain a professional appearance, pass a background check, pass a drug test (including medical marijuana), and maintain sobriety.
