Remodeling Project Lead/ Foreman ILLINOIS

Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Remodeling Project Lead/Foreman to oversee residential and commercial renovation projects from inception to completion in the Greater St. Louis area. This pivotal role requires a proactive leader who can coordinate teams, manage schedules, and ensure quality standards are met on every job site. This position is hands-on. You will oversee 1-2 crew members on-site, while working along side with them.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of remodeling projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution on sites.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project milestones are achieved efficiently.
• Read and interpret Scopes of Work and construction documents to guide on-site activities.
• Manage project budgets, track costs, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Utilize construction management software and other tools for project scheduling, documentation, and communication.
• Enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards; conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions.
• Oversee quality control processes to ensure work meets design specifications and industry standards.
• Prepare detailed reports on project progress, issues, and resolutions; maintain accurate records of all project documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in construction or remodeling projects with strong supervising skills.
• Extensive construction site experience with a solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating.
• Familiarity with construction management software
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for construction site safety.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately; experience with electrical troubleshooting using ohmmeters is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within budget constraints.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients; management experience is highly valued.
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA certification or construction management credentials are preferred; familiarity with contracts is advantageous.
