Remote Appointment Setter & Customer Service Representative

Titan Lighting is looking for a friendly, dependable and motivated Remote Appointment Setter & Customer Service Representative to handle incoming calls, follow up with leads, make outbound calls and schedule qualified estimates for our sales team.

The primary goal of this position is simple:

book qualified appointments.

This is not primarily a sales-closing position. You will not be expected to provide detailed quotes, design lighting systems or negotiate pricing over the phone. Our sales representatives handle detailed product recommendations, designs, pricing and closing during the scheduled estimate.

You will be trained on Titan Lighting’s products and services so you can confidently answer basic questions, determine what the customer is interested in and explain why scheduling an estimate is the appropriate next step.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls professionally
• Contact new leads quickly
• Make outbound calls to prospective and previous customers
• Follow up with leads who have not yet scheduled
• Schedule qualified estimates for our sales representatives
• Confirm, reschedule and manage appointments
• Re-engage older leads
• Learn the basics of our permanent lighting, landscape lighting and seasonal Christmas lighting services
• Answer general customer questions without attempting to quote or design projects over the phone
• Learn and use our CRM, The Customer Factor
• Accurately enter customer information, notes and appointment details
• Update lead statuses and follow-up activities
• Communicate important information to our sales and office teams
• Follow company scripts, procedures and lead-handling standards
• Maintain professional and timely communication with customers

What This Position Is NOT

We do not expect you to be a lighting designer or provide detailed pricing over the phone.

Your job is to understand enough about our products and services to have a knowledgeable conversation, determine whether the customer is a good fit and get them scheduled with the appropriate Titan Lighting representative.

If you have sales experience and are occasionally able to help move a customer further through the sales process, that’s a bonus—but closing sales is not the primary responsibility of this position.

• Is comfortable learning a CRM and new software
• Can follow scripts while still sounding natural
• Is dependable during scheduled working hours
• Can work independently in a remote environment

Previous appointment-setting, customer service, call-center, home-service or phone-sales experience is preferred.

Schedule

Monday–FridayApproximately 9:00 AM–3:00 PM Eastern TimeApproximately 30 hours per week

Compensation

Hourly base pay + performance incentives

Performance bonuses may be offered for qualified appointments generated through outbound calling and follow-up efforts.

The position is designed to provide stable hourly compensation while rewarding employees who consistently generate quality appointments for our sales team.

We’ve completed thousands of installations throughout Northeast Ohio and are continuing to expand our sales, installation and customer-service operations.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
