Remote Appointment Setter (Part-Time, min. 16 hrs/week)

We book retirement planning appointments for financial advisers. We are hiring four part-time appointment setters in the US.

This is not cold calling. Everyone you speak to has downloaded one of our retirement guides, usually within the last 24 hours. Your opening line is "you requested our retirement guide the other day, I just wanted to check it arrived okay". From there you are offering them a free consultation with a licensed financial adviser. It is a genuinely useful conversation and people are pleased to have it.

What you earn:

• $20 per hour, guaranteed, whatever happens on the calls

• Plus $50 for every appointment you book that the adviser actually meets with

• 16 hours a week means $320 guaranteed before you book a single appointment

• Hit our target of 7 appointments a week and you are on $666 a week, an effective $41.65 an hour

• There is no cap. If you go past target you keep earning at $50 a time

How it works:

• Minimum 16 hours a week, with room to grow as our client base expands

• You choose your hours inside 9am to 6pm in the timezone you are calling

• Fully remote, anywhere in the US

• You get an account on our calling platform. The dialer does the dialing, you just talk

• Full scripts, training and a named person to call when you are stuck

Who does well here:

• You sound warm and unhurried on the phone. This is the whole job

• You are comfortable talking with people over 50 and you do not rush them

• You can take a no without it ruining your afternoon

• You show up for the hours you committed to

• Previous sales experience is genuinely not required. Some of our best callers came from hospitality, retail and acting

The details:

• Independent contractor role, paid monthly, you handle your own taxes

• You will need a laptop, reliable internet and a quiet room

• Paid training in your first week

• We review after four weeks. If it is not working for either of us we say so early
