Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare support by answering questions related to health insurance, medical terminology, and electronic health records (EHR) management
• Accurately enter and update patient information using computer systems and EMR/EHR platforms, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality
• Assist clients with appointment scheduling, billing inquiries, and general account management through clear communication and attentive service
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools to document interactions, generate reports, and track call metrics for quality assurance purposes
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette and active listening skills to resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
• Support multilingual clients by providing bilingual assistance when applicable, ensuring clear communication across diverse populations

Skills

• Proven experience in call center environments or healthcare support roles with excellent phone call management skills
• Bilingual proficiency in English plus additional languages is highly desirable for serving diverse client bases
• Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and electronic health records (EHR) systems such as EMR/EHR platforms
• Knowledge of health insurance processes, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations to effectively assist clients
• Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally
• Demonstrated customer service problem-solving abilities with a focus on client satisfaction
• Fast typing speed combined with attention to detail for accurate data entry and documentation
• Experience in medical office settings or with healthcare-related call center roles is preferred but not required
• Analytical thinking skills to assess situations quickly and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues when necessary
