Remote Clinical Support Specialist

Most remote healthcare roles put you behind a queue — answering calls, moving messages, and working through a checklist without ever really becoming part of the clinical team.

This role is different.

Genesis is looking for a Remote Clinical Support Specialist who will work directly alongside our clinicians throughout the day. You'll be embedded in the clinical workflow — interpreting for patients in real time, supporting a provider with documentation, managing incoming voicemail communication, and helping make sure the small things that keep patient care moving actually get done.

You're remote. But you're part of the clinic.

The Work This is a hands-on remote clinical support role. Your day will move with the clinic, and priorities will shift based on what our clinicians and patients need.

• On-demand interpretation — provide real-time Spanish/English interpretation for clinicians and patients during office hours
• Dedicated scribe support — work directly with a solo provider to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
• Epic documentation — create and update telephone encounters, document communication, and support clinical workflows directly within Epic
• Inbound voicemail management — listen to patient voicemails and accurately transcribe them into Epic telephone encounters for the appropriate clinical team
• Provider-directed patient outreach — make limited outbound calls to patients when requested by a clinician and document the communication appropriately

The goal is simple: make it easier for clinicians to take care of patients. You'll help remove documentation and communication work from the clinical team while making sure patients — especially our Spanish-speaking patients — can communicate clearly with the people taking care of them.

The Stack

• Work performed during Genesis clinic/office hours
• EMR: Epic
• Spanish/English fluency required
• Previous healthcare experience strongly preferred
• Medical terminology and clinical documentation experience preferred
• Medical scribe, medical assistant, interpreter, or similar clinical experience preferred

Requirements Who We're Looking For

• You're fluent in English and Spanish and can move comfortably between both languages in a healthcare setting
• You know Epic. You understand how clinical documentation works, how telephone encounters move through a practice, and why getting the details right matters
• You're fast without being careless. You can listen to a voicemail, understand what matters, document it clearly, and route it appropriately
• You can keep up with a busy clinic. One minute you may be interpreting for a clinician, the next you're documenting an encounter or entering a patient message. You know how to prioritize without needing someone to constantly manage your day
• Most importantly, you understand that being remote doesn't mean being disconnected. You're part of the clinical team, and you take ownership like you're sitting in the clinic with them
