Duties

• Review and interpret legal descriptions, title records, and public records to confirm property details.
• Conduct comprehensive title searches and review title histories to identify potential issues or liens.
• Utilize real estate transaction management software, mapping software, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and other tools to facilitate accurate title processing and mapping.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and legal standards during the title review process.
• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, escrow officers, and other stakeholders to coordinate closing procedures.
• Manage real estate documentation review, including easements, rights-of-way, and other legal descriptions necessary for closing.
• Oversee the finalization of title insurance policies and facilitate smooth real estate closings while adhering to all legal requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in law office settings or real estate transaction management roles with a focus on title review or closing processes.
• Strong knowledge of real estate law, legal descriptions, easements, rights-of-way, and title search procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with real estate documentation review tools.
• Experience using real estate transaction management software, mapping software, GIS systems, and title processing platforms.
• Excellent research skills for analyzing public records and verifying title history accuracy.
• Ability to adhere strictly to underwriting guidelines and legal standards during the closing process.
• Exceptional client communication skills combined with a customer service-oriented approach to ensure positive client experiences remotely.
