Remote Construction Controller

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Controller to oversee financial operations and project accounting for a commercial construction company. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with construction job costing, Work in Progress (WIP) reporting, project profitability, and financial forecasting.

This position requires specialized construction accounting expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to improve financial processes independently.

Work Details

• Employment type: Full-time, remote
• Salary: PHP 150,000 - 175,000 per month base salary
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee construction accounting and financial reporting.
• Manage job costing, project budgets, and cost-to-complete forecasts.
• Prepare WIP reports and monitor percentage-of-completion accounting.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and retainage.
• Manage month-end close, cash flow forecasting, and financial statements.
• Monitor project profitability and investigate cost variances.
• Maintain accounting controls and improve financial processes.
• Collaborate with project managers on financial performance and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on construction accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP reporting, and percentage-of-completion accounting.
• Experience with QuickBooks and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Procore and construction accounting platforms such as Viewpoint, Sage 300 CRE, or CMiC is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cash flow, and project profitability.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take ownership of financial operations and improve existing processes.

Pay: Php150,000.00 - Php175,000.00 per month
