Compensation: PHP 120,000 to PHP 125,000 (still negotiable based on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

We are a U.S based commercial construction company specializing in dental offices, animal hospitals, daycare facilities, and retail spaces.

We are looking for an experienced Remote Construction Manager to support multiple commercial construction projects by coordinating schedules, managing subcontractors, tracking budgets, and working closely with our U.S.-based field supervisors.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong construction background who can keep projects organized, communicate confidently with contractors and suppliers, and proactively address issues before they affect project timelines or costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Manage project schedules, track milestones, prepare weekly progress reports, and maintain look-ahead schedules.
  • Field Coordination: Communicate regularly with U.S.-based field supervisors to monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and identify potential delays.
  • Subcontractor Management: Source and contact subcontractors, distribute bid packages, collect and compare proposals, and recommend qualified contractors.
  • Plan and Scope Review: Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals to identify scope gaps or potential conflicts.
  • Procurement and Materials: Coordinate material purchasing and deliveries while monitoring long-lead items and potential supply delays.
  • Budget and Cost Tracking: Monitor project budgets, review invoices against agreed scopes and reported progress, and track change orders.
  • Documentation: Maintain organized project records, including contracts, permits, RFIs, submittals, inspection reports, and progress report.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, property owners, and other project stakeholders as needed.
  • Inspections and Closeout: Coordinate inspections with the field team, track outstanding requirements, manage punch lists, and organize closeout documentation.
  • Issue Escalation: Proactively identify construction conflicts, missing information, schedule risks, and decisions requiring management approval.

Required Qualifications

  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction management, project management, or construction project coordination.
  • Experience with U.S. commercial construction projects is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor scopes, project scheduling, and cost tracking.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with confidence making outbound calls and leading virtual meetings.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and construction documentation or scheduling tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with U.S.-based teams during Philippine evening hours.
  • Reliable internet connection, a suitable computer, and a quiet home workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial interior build-outs and ground-up construction projects.
  • Familiarity with Procore, Buildertrend, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar construction management and drawing review tools.
  • Previous experience working remotely with U.S. contractors, subcontractors, and field teams.

What We Offer

  • Long-term, full-time remote employment.
  • Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
  • Direct involvement in a variety of U.S. commercial construction projects.
  • Opportunities to take on greater responsibilities and grow into a senior construction management role.
