About the role

Joboraai Solutions is seeking a talented Remote Contract Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic technology team. Key responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks and technologies
• Build and maintain scalable backend systems using appropriate server-side languages and frameworks
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing within the team
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and development through testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in full-stack development and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage databases, APIs, and integrations to ensure seamless data flow across applications

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role, with a portfolio demonstrating your work across frontend and backend technologies
• Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and experience with modern frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular)
• Solid backend development experience using languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, PHP, or similar server-side technologies
• Expertise in working with databases (both relational and non-relational), SQL, and database design principles
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, and experience working in agile development environments
• Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and SOLID principles
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is advantageous
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, containerisation (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines is desirable
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and practices for both frontend and backend development is beneficial
