Location: Remote (Must reside in Eastern Time Zone states only)

*Must be able to train for 2 weeks in Roanoke, VA.*

(Company pays for hotel/travel expenses)

Schedule : Monday-Friday 8-5

Compensation

$60-85k base salary (flexible/based on experience) + full comprehensive benefits

What You’ll Do

• Create and develop detailed electrical and shelter design drawings
• Interpret bid documents, customer specs, and supplied drawings
• Perform calculations (AC service, HVAC, energy, structural)
• Prepare work orders and bills of materials (BOMs)
• Provide technical support to internal teams and customers
• Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, and engineering teams
• Assist with additional design and engineering tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Architectural design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit (required)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Solid math skills (algebra, geometry, formulas)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering OR equivalent hands-on experience
• 0–5+ years of electrical design experience (level-dependent)
• Experience with electrical systems design preferred
• Experience with AutoCad and Revit
