Duties

• Provide expert guidance on travel planning, including flights, hotels, transportation, and activities using reservation systems and global distribution systems (GDS)
• Assist clients in scheduling trips, managing changes, and resolving issues with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Communicate clearly with clients via phone, email, or chat to understand their needs and deliver tailored travel solutions
• Coordinate with hotels, airlines, and other service providers to confirm reservations and ensure client satisfaction
• Maintain organized records of client interactions, bookings, and special requests to ensure smooth travel experiences
• Stay updated on the latest travel industry trends, destination information, and GDS functionalities to offer accurate advice
• Support clients in navigating travel restrictions or requirements related to health protocols or visas

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a remote environment within a sales or customer service capacity in the travel industry helpful but not required
• Strong knowledge of reservation systems, hotel experience, and hospitality services helpful but not required
• Familiarity with global distribution systems (GDS) used for booking flights and accommodations
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple bookings and client requests efficiently
• Exceptional communication skills for engaging with clients from diverse backgrounds and ensuring clarity in all interactions
• Experience with travel scheduling, planning, and problem-solving under tight deadlines helpful but not required
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technology platforms and stay current with industry updates
