Duties

• Conduct thorough variance analysis reporting to identify trends and variances against budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights for management
• Develop and maintain detailed financial projection models to support strategic planning and investment decisions
• Prepare, interpret, and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) standards
• Support regulatory reporting requirements by ensuring compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls and other regulatory frameworks
• Assist in cost accounting activities to optimize expense management and improve profit margins
• Utilize business intelligence tools and financial reporting software to generate comprehensive reports for various stakeholders
• Perform data analysis using Excel data analysis techniques to facilitate accurate financial forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on pricing strategies, sales analysis, and investment evaluations to maximize profitability
• Contribute to the development of financial models that support corporate finance initiatives and strategic planning efforts
• Support internal audits by ensuring proper account analysis, documentation, and adherence to organizational policies

Experience

• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role within corporate accounting or public accounting environments
• Strong understanding of financial concepts including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow analysis, and financial statement interpretation
• Demonstrated expertise in financial model development, forecasting analysis, and variance reporting
• Familiarity with accounting systems, financial reporting software, and data analysis tools such as Excel advanced functions or business intelligence platforms
• Knowledge of regulatory standards including SOX compliance and IFRS reporting requirements
• Experience with cost accounting, budgeting processes, and strategic planning methodologies
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong quantitative analysis skills combined with excellent communication abilities for clear report writing and presentation of findings

Pay: $73,451.79 - $88,458.07 per year
