(REMOTE) Interior Designer

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in interior design, space planning, and design development, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional, visually appealing, and high-quality spaces.

You will work across multiple projects, developing design concepts, presentations, layouts, material selections, and detailed drawings while ensuring projects meet design standards, budgets, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative and functional interior design concepts based on client requirements.
• Create mood boards, material boards, and design presentations.
• Prepare space plans, layouts, and detailed design documentation.
• Produce technical drawings and design documentation using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Develop 3D models and visualisations using SketchUp.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and other design elements.
• Prepare and deliver design presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and other design professionals.
• Ensure designs align with project budgets, timelines, and client expectations.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and design quality.
• Stay up to date with current interior design trends, materials, and industry standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Interior Design experience.
• Previous experience working in an interior design agency, architecture firm, or design studio.
• Strong proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD.
• Experience with SketchUp and other relevant design software.
• Strong knowledge of space planning, layouts, materials, finishes, and design elements.
• Experience creating mood boards, concepts, presentations, and design documentation.
• Excellent visual, creative, and technical design skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Australian design experience.
• Experience working with global, luxury, or high-end hospitality design studios.
• Experience delivering projects for international clients.
• Knowledge of Australian design standards and practices.
