What You'll Do:

As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play an essential role in helping patients gain timely access to medications by:

✅ Processing pharmacy prior authorization requests

✅ Serving as a key point of contact for healthcare providers

✅ Reviewing documentation and gathering clinical information via phone, fax, and portals

✅ Tracking and managing authorization workflows using multiple systems

✅ Supporting pharmacists and physicians with case preparation and follow-up

✅ Communicating authorization outcomes accurately and professionally

✅ Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and service-level requirements

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification
• At least 2 years of pharmacy-related experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service and phone skills
• Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and documenting cases accurately

Preferred Experience:

• Prior authorization experience
• PBM, managed care, health plan, specialty pharmacy, or clinical pharmacy experience
• Knowledge of pharmacy benefit reviews and utilization management processes
• Understanding of step therapy and related pharmacy regulations

Schedule & Work Environment

• 100% Remote (CST hours)
• Full-time contract, 40 hours per week
• Regular schedule: M-F 10am-7pm CST
• Comprehensive training program provided-first 4-5 weeks: M-F 8am-5pm CST
