About Supaguard Fencing

Supaguard Fencing is an Australian supplier of commercial fencing, gates and custom steel products.

We are seeking an experienced Production CAD Draftsman based in the Philippines to support our Australian fabrication and operations teams.

This role suits someone who enjoys accuracy, consistency, routine and repetitive technical drafting work.

This is not a creative architectural design role.

Much of the work involves preparing and revising similar steel gate, fencing panel and fabrication drawings every day.

We are looking for someone who enjoys:

• getting dimensions exactly right
• following established standards
• producing accurate drawings consistently
• checking their own work carefully
• reducing errors and rework
• working efficiently without sacrificing accuracy

If you are mainly looking for creative or highly varied design work, this role is unlikely to suit you.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for steel gates, fencing panels and metalwork
• Produce fabrication-ready shop drawings
• Prepare BOQs, BOMs and material take-offs
• Apply standard materials, components and fixings
• Check dimensions and specifications carefully
• Revise drawings promptly when required
• Maintain drawing revisions and document control
• Ensure drawings are practical and buildable
• Communicate with our Australian sales, fabrication and operations teams

What We Are Looking For

• Strong AutoCAD 2D drafting skills
• Experience in metal fabrication, steel detailing or production drafting
• Experience producing fabrication/shop drawings
• Experience preparing BOQs, BOMs or material take-offs
• Good understanding of steel materials, sections and fixings
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good written and spoken English
• Reliable internet and suitable home-working setup
• Comfortable working independently and completing repetitive work accurately

Experience with FabCAD, Unleashed or similar systems will be highly regarded.

Working Hours

Our preferred hours are 7:00am – 3:00pm Philippines time, Monday to Friday.

These hours provide good overlap with our Australian operations and allow regular communication with the team.

• great English speaking communications with Australian team members
