Remote Support Assistant (2-3 hours per week)

Job Overview

Let's Go Outdoors is seeking a support assistant for locating family-friendly programs/activities and publishing them to our events Google calendar.

Duties

• Populate at least 2-4 months (October/November/December/January) of programs within the Let's Go Outdoors events calendar.
• Ensure the calendar will be populated to illustrate at least 6 (or more) events per week, between Let's Go Outdoors' direct programs and programs happening within the local/neighboring Philadelphia, PA community.
• Post at least 100 calendar events (happening between Nov2026-Feb2027) and provide at least 2-3 new partnership possibilities to Let's Go Outdoors for expanding the work and mission of the organization.

Requirements

• MUST have own laptop/comuter and strong online search skills
• Ability to enter/copy+paste info accurately into a Google Calendar
• Able to determine best fit programs
• Communicate if there are any issues/questions
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliable time management

To do this project, the support assistant will be provided with a starting local organizations list that can be used to seek out programs, as well as given basic directions in where to seek out potential programs within the community. We estimate this project requiring 2-4 hours per week (not any more than that). If you are seeking more hours, please do NOT apply for this job.

In doing such, Let's Go Outdoors' goal is to build awareness of outdoor programming available for our audience to participate, as well as develop new organizational partnership possibilities.

Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.0 – 4.0 per week
