Job Description for Remote Support Engineer - TCS-ODC (Pune- Hadapsar)

6 Days working with rotational Shift ( 24/6)

Location- Pune- Hadapsar

Key Responsibilities:

• Windows 11 with strong technical skill to install, configure and troubleshoot operating system issues by analysing System Event logs/ system behaviour and / or performing various updates/ upgrades instead of just formatting the machine. Access Registry and various common Registry settings.
• Skilled enough to diagnose the hardware issues specific to Desktop, Laptop, Printers, and Scanners. Call log skill with Third party vendors.
• Troubleshooting skill on Microsoft Outlook 2007/ 2013 and MS Outlook 2016 & Licensing knowledge (Advantage, features etc.)
• Ticket categorization, Work-log update, SLA/ Ticket monitoring in terms on Assigned, Work-in progress, Pending etc. Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now, Remedy, Jira, etc). also Remote tools awareness.
• Windows OS troubleshooting (OS Upgradation, BIOS, Firmware etc.)
• Support network connectivity issues (LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN).
• Good understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and remote desktop tools.
• System level compliance parameter understanding & troubleshooting (SCCM, Antivirus, Windows Version, etc.)
• Troubleshooting on system level for Group policy, System performance issue, Mailbox Storage full, Disk space issues etc.

• Distance / Part-Time / Online Education is not acceptable.
• Any overlap between Education and Employment is not acceptable.
• Any gap exceeding 1 year between Education and Employment, or between two employments, may not be acceptable.
• Salary received in cash is not acceptable.
• Ex-TCS employees are not eligible for re-hiring

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
