Summary Job Summary (List Format) Workday Compensation Manager

• Lead and configure Workday Compensation for a large, unionized shipboard employee population (40,000+), focusing on a current implementation and go-live.
• Serve as subject matter expert, providing expert-level consulting to HR leadership on compensation processes, best practices, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, Payroll, and other business units to translate business requirements into scalable HR technology solutions.
• Oversee testing, integration (including with MAPS crew management system), deployment of new compensation plans, and business process changes.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and program alignment; act as primary escalation point for complex issues.
• May supervise a small team of compensation analysts.
• Requires at least 5 years of direct experience configuring and leading Workday Core and Advanced Compensation in complex, unionized environments.
• Strong analytical, project leadership, and stakeholder management skills required.
• Bachelor s degree required; Workday Pro and/or Project Management certifications preferred.
