Removals Porter

AB Transport Removals & Storage Ltd is a growing removals and storage company based in Dorset, providing professional home relocation and storage services across the South of England.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking removals porter to join our team as we continue to expand.

This is a physically active, hands-on role suited to somebody who takes pride in their work, works well within a professional crew environment, and understands the importance of delivering excellent service in customers’ homes.

The role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the removals and logistics industry while working as part of a professional and supportive team.

Responsibilities

You will assist with:

• Safe and efficient loading, unloading, and transportation of furniture and household goods
• Furniture protection and wrapping
• Packing and unpacking services
• Dismantling and reassembling furniture
• Maintaining clean, organised vehicles and working areas
• Supporting storage and warehouse operations when required
• Delivering high standards of customer service and professionalism on-site
• Working efficiently as part of a removals crew in a fast-paced environment

RequirementsEssential:

• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
• Reliable and punctual
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills
• Strong work ethic and team mentality

Preferred but not essential:

• Previous removals, warehouse, logistics, or construction experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience driving Luton vans
• Furniture assembly experience
• Forklift experience (training can be provided)
