Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Accountable Person for Power Plants, ensuring compliance with Operating Standards, SHEQ, and legislative requirements.
• Lead and manage operational and maintenance teams to achieve safety, efficiency, and performance goals.
• Build and maintain effective client relationships to ensure safe, efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and deliver annual operating and business plans, ensuring clear communication and understanding across teams.
• Plan, control, and optimise budgets, contracts, and CAPEX projects to enhance site safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with authorities and stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and community engagement.
• Support business growth and share best practices in the plant managers' forum.
• Oversee outages, critical maintenance, and provide emergency call-out support as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Must hold a degree.
• Possess substantial experience in the energy sector or other major hazard industries.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing energy-related assets effectively.
• Proven track record of operating at a senior management level within equivalent industries.
• Capable of strategic-level thinking while maintaining the ability to manage day-to-day operations and performance.
• Extensive experience in team and site management, including performance management, coaching, and managing staff absence.
• Confident in attending power plant sites during ongoing operations, able to assess situations, take control, and actively engage to drive optimal outcomes.
