Renovation & Punch Technician

Crispin Turnkey Solutions is seeking a dependable, experienced Renovation & Punch Technician to join our growing team serving apartment communities throughout the CSRA.

This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working independently and handling a variety of renovation, repair, installation, and punch-list work. Our ideal candidate is a problem-solver who can walk into a unit, understand what needs to be completed, and get the job done correctly without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

The Renovation & Punch Technician will assist with apartment renovations, turns, and other property improvement projects. Responsibilities may include:

• Installing kitchen and bathroom cabinets
• Installing vanities, hardware, shelving, and other fixtures
• Removing existing cabinets, countertops, fixtures, and other renovation materials as needed
• Completing drywall patches and minor sheetrock repairs
• Caulking, sealing, and completing finish work
• Installing or replacing trim, baseboards, doors, and hardware
• Completing minor carpentry repairs
• Installing appliances and miscellaneous renovation items
• Handling minor plumbing-related installation work within experience level
• Completing pre-paint and post-renovation punch lists
• Correcting small issues identified during final quality-control walks
• Preparing units so painting, countertops, flooring, and other trades can complete their work efficiently
• Completing miscellaneous maintenance and repair projects for our apartment-community clients
• Keeping work areas clean and removing renovation/demo debris when necessary

What We're Looking For

We need someone who is versatile, dependable, and comfortable working independently.

The right person should:

• Have experience with apartment maintenance, remodeling, construction, handyman work, or a similar trade
• Be comfortable using power tools and common construction equipment
• Have basic carpentry and drywall-repair skills
• Be able to install cabinets and complete finish work accurately
• Be able to troubleshoot problems and determine practical solutions in the field
• Pay close attention to detail and take pride in finished work
• Be able to manage a punch list and complete work without constant supervision
• Communicate clearly when additional materials or repairs are needed
• Work well alongside painters, cleaners, countertop installers, and other trades
• Be dependable and able to stay on schedule as renovation timelines are often tight

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to travel between apartment communities throughout the CSRA
• Ability to lift and move construction materials and equipment
• Ability to work independently
• Prior maintenance, remodeling, construction, or handyman experience strongly preferred
• Personal hand tools are a plus

About the Position

This is an important role within our renovation operation. You will often be the person who gets a unit ready for the next trade and handles the details needed to bring a renovation across the finish line.

We're looking for someone who doesn't need to be limited to one trade. If you know how to fix things, install things, troubleshoot problems, and take ownership of getting a job completed correctly, we'd like to hear from you.
